Visions was invited by the ”Cité des métiers” organization in Grand Roissy – Le Bourget, supported by Paris CDG Alliance, to run skills assessment workshops at the Transport Logistic Fair on June 15th.
What is the Transport Logistics Fair ?
For several years now, AFT (Association pour le développement de la formation professionnelle Transport et Logistique) and the Ile-de-France Regional Council have strongly supported the Transport and Logistics Trade Fair.
The goal of this event is to
– show the diversity of the careers in this field
– promote the jobs of tomorrow
– connect employers and job-seekers
In this context, the Cité des Métiers organized a job fair on employment, transport and logistics on June 15. This event was created in collaboration with the national employment agency (Pôle Emploi) and Transport Logistique France.
During this event, people were able to :
– discover new jobs
– use skills assessment tools
– apply for more than 200 job offers
This event brought together many companies: Jet international, WFS, Transdev, DB Schenker, Bolloré, Groupe Berto, HR compliance, Servair, BDP, XPO, Keolis, TCR, FNTV, Scales, Dachser France, Synergie…
Beneficiaries, local employment organizations and employers: a multiple interest in the skills assessment tool
Throughout the Transport & Logistics Fair, Visions conducted several workshops on skills assessment. These workshops were conducted in small groups and led by our team.
More than 30 job-seekers tested the assessment tool. The skills data generated in the assessment were used by the individuals for interviews with employers.
This fair also allowed local employment agencies and the Tremblay branch of the national employment agency to discover the skills assessment tool.
Based on collaborations being formed, new workshops for testing the tool will soon be made available. Overall, this fair has generated a lot of interest from the public, employers and local organizations.
