Discovery of the career orientation assessment during the “Rendez-vous de l’Emploi” on November 8th, 2022 !

During the 10th edition of the “Rendez-vous de l’Emploi” of the Val d’Yerres Val de Seine, Visions was present to accompany job seekers through their career orientation assessment.  

What is the “Rendez-vous de l’Emploi” ? 

The Rendez-vous de l’Emploi is a forum dedicated to employment which took place on November 8th from 10am to 5pm. This event brought together more than 80 recruiters with more than 700 job offers to fill, including Keolis, La Poste, SNCF and Gallien Hospital. Moreover, job seekers from the territory :

• were interviewed for job offers
• exchanged with training organizations to see if they were eligible for the training and their reorientation towards these fields
• improved their resumé and cover letters thanks to the coaching corner
• were able to do a career assessment
• participated in conferences

52 job seekers benefited from a career assessment 

Visions was present to accompany the job seekers in the completion of their career orientation assessment. By carrying out their assessment, they discovered :

• Jobs and sectors that are heavily recruiting
• their soft skills that can be used in interviews
• A selection of training offers to help them reach their targeted careers

This tool served as a starting point for those wishing to reorient themselves. During this event, Visions was represented by the co-founder Mackenzie Himmelbauer who was able to exchange with Dany Boyer, Vice-president in charge of child protection, solidarity and integration for the Departmental Council of Essonne, the local “Missions Locales”, actors from Pôle Emploi, training organizations, the Red Cross and other actors of professional integration in Val d’Yerres.
